The Employee Advisory Group is a group of employees that meet monthly to share ideas. There is an employment dispute resolution process to resolve a complaint or disciplinary action. An annual survey of all employees is conducted. The information is used to create action plans aimed at improving our work environment.
Staffing
Tulane Medical Center is committed to staffing levels that enable you to provide quality and compassionate care to patients in a manner that also ensures your safe and well-being, and maintains your continuity of income. Work schedules must be posted 14 days in advance. The RN floating policy requires nurses be given an orientation to the unit where they will be assigned. There is no mandatory overtime unless the employee requests it, there is an emergency or patient safety is at risk.
