Otolaryngology (ENT)
Dr. Rizwan Aslam is a board-certified ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialist with Tulane Health System who specializes in robotic surgical procedures. He is a clinical professor of otolaryngology with the Tulane University School of Medicine, where is also an assistant professor of surgery and the director of its parotid and salivary gland center. His interests, from both a clinical and research perspective, include diseases and tumors of the larynx, pharynx, salivary glands and thyroid, as well as mandible-sparing procedures for oral cavity tumors and airway reconstruction and microvascular/reconstruction of the head and neck. In addition, he has a special interest in robotics and microvascular free-flap reconstruction. Dr. Aslam graduated from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine Erie in 2003, completed internships in general surgery there and at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and he completed a residency at the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine in head and neck oncology and microvascular reconstruction.

He is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
